2024 Holiday Decorating Contest sponsored by the Oxford Arts Council! Submission Period Ends: Friday, December 6.

The Categories are: Business, Best Lighting, Downtown Oxford Residential, Most Beautiful, Most Christmas Spirit, Most Creative, Most Traditional, Reason for the Season, and Winter Wonderland.

Nominations for homes or businesses to be considered can be made by calling 311 or by sending an email to: oxfordartscouncil@gmail.com

Please give the name, address, and phone number of the nominee. The community will have a chance to vote for their favorite decorations on the Oxford Arts Council Facebook page from Saturday, December 7 until Monday, December 9.

Awards will be presented by Mayor Alton Craft and will include certificates, yard signs, and two tickets to “Christmas with the Pops: A Holiday World Tour.”

The awards presentation to announce winners will be at the Oxford Performing Arts Center in The Studio on December 15, 2024. A reception for the winners will be at 5:30pm and the awards presentation will be at 6:00pm.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast of IHOP pancakes and sausage served by cheerful elves, then meet your favorite holiday characters. Children can take photos with Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, Elsa, Olaf, the Grinch, Beauty and the Beast, and many more! The Oxford Performing Arts Center will have its 11th annual FREE Christmas Movie Festival from December 21 - 24! This December, visit OPAC to catch movies that the whole family will enjoy! Classic movies like: It’s A Wonderful Life, Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Stole Christmas, ELF, and Christmas Vacation.
