Oxford’s transportation infrastructure upgrades are continuing.

The Alabama Department of Transportation has begun work to repave Quintard Avenue/Alabama 21 from the bridge leading into the city from the north to the Talladega County line.

This project is also scheduled to improve some of the turning lanes along the route.

Motorists are advised to be aware of potential traffic slowdowns and closed lanes as this project is in progress.

Caution is advised regarding the construction workers who are necessarily on the roadways. Their safety is of the utmost priority.
