OPAC SUMMER CAMPERS REHEARSE FOR “SLEEPING BEAUTY”

Fifty area elementary and middle school students are in the middle of rehearsals for their production of “Sleeping Beauty” as they immerse themselves in the world of theater as part of the Oxford Performing Arts Center’s Spotlight Camp being held this week.

This year’s production is Sleeping Beauty, produced by the Missoula Children’s Theater, which has been providing theatrical experiences for children worldwide since 1998.

The result of the campers’ work will be on display during two performances on Saturday, June 22, at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at OPAC. Admission is free.

Registration is still available for OPAC’s Live Production Workshop for high school students, which will be held July 15-19. The cost is $149 per student. More details on the workshop and how to register can be found at oxfordpac.org.
