CORE MEDICAL TRAINING CENTER EXPANDS TO NEW OXFORD LOCATION

CORE Medical Training Center hosted a grand opening of its new, expanded location at 1707 Hillyer Robinson Parkway South, Suite A, on Friday, July 19.

Owner and CEO PerCee Leonard cut the ribbon on the center which offers training programs including phlebotomy, EKG, and patient care specialties.

“CORE has been around for two years,” Leonard said. “We started out with just phlebotomy. After that, it really kicked off and did so well, I began adding new programs.

CORE has already certified more than 200 students to serve in the medical profession.

“I now have a division which does drug testing, DNA testing, and early gender reveal testing,” Leonard said. “We also do blood draws here if you don’t want to sit in a doctor’s office. We can meet all kinds of medical needs here at CORE.”

“Our former location was very small, so I’m very proud of this new location,” she said.

“We are thankful you are expanding and staying here in Oxford,” said Mayor Alton Craft. “We hope you have continued success in this new location.”

CORE offers flexible payment plans and a nontraditional classroom schedule, including weekend classes. Students can be certified in as little as one month.
